Song of the night

Midnight of this Life  by Headstones.
I've got the song stuck in my head tonight, another one of those situations where listening to it just seemed to dig it deeper instead of getting over the song.

Damn it, I miss Dimmer on my weekly tv.  Strange to think that, but I really really do.  I'll have to really give the character in my fairy tale based on him a massive story boost to make up for it.

Speaking of storylines I'm so not happy with, the Pack being torn to pieces. Hate it. Understand why they decided it was a good time to go with that plot, but I'm still hoping they sew them back together soon. And not make the fans have to wait like five years.
Will be fun though to see Mad Hatter's character really go nutballs. Hey, here's an idea, have him start coming to the ring with Rebel without a Cause's action figure treating it like a voodoo doll, sticking pins and stuff into it. That would be an interesting road to go down. That's what I would write for his storyline if I was in the writer's chair.

And speaking of Mad Hatter... dude how's the arm?

And as always...Mr. Scratchy; Herman, I imagine you tonight, checking in with a cup of tea in hand, for some reason I think you've got a headache. I imagine you dressed in grey pants, a quarter sleeved shirt that fits like a glove in white, and you're munching on chocolate covered peanuts.

Smile, smirk and snarl.

Swerve?

Got a message a bit ago from my cousin Walsh.  "Did you watch the show?"

Me-:"Yes. And I saw it."

Walsh-:"Haha! Your boys are done. Toast."

Me-:"Ruin my mood why don't you?"

Walsh-:"It was bound to happen. No one stays together forever."

Me-:"I'm hoping they pull a swerve. Too many fans are going to be pissed at this storyline, and I hope by the end of the week, the story is fixed and it's all a swerve for Rebel without a Cause's character."

Walsh-:"That I'd like to see...they did have him looking, I don't know..."

Me-:"Angry, but neutral."

Walsh-:"How can you be angry and neutral?"

Me-:"Usually when they have a big heel turn like that, the character smiles or blows up. Rebel without a Cause didn't do anything. Just had this intensity...if I didn't know better, I'd say he looked torn, heartbroken...wonder if it was a last minute storyline? His acting has improved."

Walsh-:"I hope your right and it's a swerve. Was thinking about getting tickets for one of the shows next month for the Southern Ontario shows. Wouldn't be any good if they break the Pack up."

Me-:"Rub it in some more."

Walsh-:"Would you like some salt in that wound? With them touring through here, you could meet them."

Me-:"Um...???? They're not coming here."

Walsh-:"If they drive through town on their way to their tour dates. You never know, right place at the right time..."

Me-:"And I thought you were suppose to be the logical one? Dude, that's just...just..."

Walsh-:"You can't argue with me on it. Haha! Could happen. Totally could."

Me-:"I don't see it. Giant ouija board says no."

Thursday May 1st

I got a message from my cousin Walsh earlier today, asking first if I had seen the wrestling from Monday and if I so, did I have it on the dvr still?  I told yes to both.  He showed up around 3:30pm to flip through the episode.

Walsh-:"You look freaked, what's wrong?"

Me-:"Issues with my main blog. It's vanished into thin air and the blog host isn't responding."

Walsh-:"What?"

Me-:"The name needs to be renewed but there's some glitch and it's just lost. So I'm just a bit...distracted."

He grunted pausing the wrestling to get up and get a coffee. We continued watching the episode, till we got to the Pack's promo. "See what he did there?"

Me-:"What?"

He rewound the promo pointing to Mad Hatter. "The wall by the window."  I shrugged.

Me-:"Just tell me what you want me to understand cause I'm not paying attention."

Walsh-:"Your story. He's doing what you wrote the character...he's letting you know he's still paying attention."

Me-:"Your crush on him is way bigger then mine is. Admit it, you want him." I grabbed the remote and watched the promo paying attention to what Mad Hatter was doing.  "Okay...yeah that does seem like the scene I wrote the other day..."  I have no idea how I missed something like that when I watched it live the other night?

Walsh-:"See, don't give up hope." he elbowed me gently. I slapped him cause my ribs are still bothering me after almost two weeks. "Heard my step-mom was trying to set you up."

Me-:"I wouldn't call it a set up as much as her telling me to stalk the poor boy."

Walsh-:"I think for once, she's got a good idea. I've seen the reporter around town doing location segments, and he seems really down to earth. If I was you, I would stalk him."  he air quoted the word stalk. "You know, get on twitter or facebook and friend him, start a conversation about something. That's why her and her friend wanted you to show up at the cafe eh?"

Me-:"I'm guessing."

Walsh-:"You've got to start somehow. You've been hiding for too long."

Me-:"Hiding? You think that I'm hiding?"

Walsh-:"Um yeah no doubt. You've been hiding since before your knee injury. And if you don't blog this then I know you're a coward."

Me-:"Tell you what. If I bump into the dude while out I'll start a conversation. That work for you?"

Walsh-:"Suppose. Feeling any better?"

Me-:"Nope. I ran that blog for four years..."

Walsh-:"Not the blog, the fact Mad Hatter is still reading you. That Mr. Scratchy is still reading you."

Me-:"Honestly, I'm not sure anything would make me feel better right now."

Walsh-:"Not even if Mad Hatter opened up and started talking to you?"

I let out a breath, closing my eyes. "That would be golden but dude, it's just been years. Dimmer on the other hand, I could see him reaching out. Ever since that one promo he did last year..." I looked at my cousin then sort of started off into space before grabbing the laptop and pulling up the promo of Dimmer from last year with the fake glasses. I showed it to Walsh not sure why suddenly it seemed so damned important? "We missed something here. I think Dimmer has more to do with things then I ever thought?"

Walsh shook his head shrugging. "Stick with Mad Hatter. I think he's more your type."

Me-:"Right now, any guy between 28-37 who's breathing is my type."

post it Monday 28th 2014

I'd like to believe that you still read these Mr. Scratchy, so here goes...

I imagine you checking in tonight, a drink in hand, whiskey I think. Dressed in grey pajama bottoms...actually I think they are sweat pants, grey sweat pants, a hoodie thrown over for the moment, in dark blue, having just washed your hair. I imagine you are restless right now. Having worked tonight, and unable to get to the gym for any kind of late workout, maybe in a place that you don't feel comfortable taking a night run. I imagine you reading this, downing your drink, pouring another one, and thinking "at lest you didn't smash into any big moose the other day".  And now I think you're laughing, spilling your drink on yourself.
I imagine Herman, that you might even be listening to your latest playlist which now includes "Put your head on my shoulder", "I put a spell on you" and "Johnny Angel".

So here's the thing, from about 9:12 pm EST tonight, my ear started to burn, up until the Pack did their live promo at about 10:50pm. And it's started back up again with the burning in the last five minutes. (11:50pm EST)
I'm hoping it's all good stuff.

Anyways... tell the Pack I loved their live promo tonight. All shadows and walls.

Sunday April 27th 2014

I caught up with Friday's wrestling middle of the day yesterday, while my cousin Mavis was still here. We were watching the one segment where the Pack beat up Dimmer.  Mavis, thought it was the funniest thing she's seen in forever, and was doing that fake laugh kids do. Anyways, she pointed to the screen at one point and said "he's like a dog."  Referring to Mad Hatter's actions/grunts.
I thought this was ironic, given she had no idea what they are called.  The cute of it all was Mavis had grabbed the remote for the dvr and rewound the skit like four times just to see Dimmer standing there for the thirty seconds before getting beat up.  She's eight and starting to notice boys. Oh yeah, she's related to me alright.

When the company finally puts Dimmer into a proper spotlight, he's going to be magazine/movie gold. If he's not a "face" of the company in the next five years, they will loose out big time.

Hotels and hauntings

One of my uncles, phoned me and asked if I could book a hotel for him online, as he's got no clue how to do all that.  It took nearly two hours to finally find what he was looking for price wise and for the dates he wanted.
Proceed to remind me I haven't been on a trip myself in almost four years. Stressfully sad.
Anyways, while I was doing this hotel hunt for uncle, I think I scared the hell out of him when I screamed, as he was still on the phone. Well, swore and screamed actually.  In the middle of the search, I hit the refresh button for the hotel packages, which brought up an advertisement for company #1. And the Pack was front and center in the ad.

Dude, why is it whenever I'm doing something else in life, Mad Hatter pops up like a dirty dime?

I could understand if I was on a wrestling site or something, but general life?  This has been happening a lot in the last few months. He's everywhere.

So why does life haunt us with certain things/people?  There are lessons to learn in every thing when it repeats in your life, it's just a matter of figuring out what that message is?  There is a city that haunted me for years, still to this day, every time I end up liking a band or actor (and half my favourite wrestlers for that matter), they end up being from Detroit.

The Knight of Cups and Page of Cups, constantly show up in tarot readings, driving me insane. And I've looked at them from every possible angle and still have no idea what the lesson is there that they are trying to tell me?

I've already mentioned the Johnathan syndrome...

So, why then am I being haunted when I lest expect it by images of Mad Hatter?   I don't get haunted by images of The Celebrity, or The Other Guy, or any other wrestler for that matter. This has gone beyond simple popularity, or even a cosmic joke for that matter.

What the hell is the real lesson here?

11:27 pm

Dear Herman:

Was watching tonight's wrestling, and thought it a little odd to hear the announcers talking about astrology. Just didn't fit. Wouldn't it have made more sense for them to have mentioned the astrology stuff during the Pack's match? Moons, fanged creatures, etc.

But anyways... glad to see Dimmer had a few minutes air time. He looked good.

Speaking of Werewolf King, Rebel without a Cause and Mad Hatter...dude, they looked like they were going to vomit on everyone. Let me once again ask, does Rebel without a Cause have any bones unbroken in his neck and shoulders? That one landing was earth shattering.

Well, I imagine you checking in tonight, sore, tired and...I don't know. Eating potato salad in one of those plastic take away containers. Dressed in...boxers, blue boxers.

Dream of sunflowers and icicles.

Sunday, April 6, 2014

Well that was quick

8:20pm Message came in from Walsh. "You're boys won."

Me-:"Yes, I knew they would."

The Pack came to the ring with sort of a new spin on their look, masks, a layer less of clothes. I was settling in for the match when it was over. What the hell? Talk about a quickie...

Then, one of the larger matches, and Dimmer was tossed out before I realized he was in there. Damn. I'm missing all my favourites tonight.

Coffee, tea or me?

I got a message from my cousin Walsh. "Did you talk to Connie yet?"

Me-:"Nope. She never called me. Why?"

Walsh-:"She lied to her mom the other night and said she was coming here, when she went to some witch thing. Parents are pissed."

Me-:"Okay, and?"

Walsh-:"They yelled at my wife, she freaked out and yelled at me..."

Me-:"Not your fault, she's a teenager."

Walsh-:"I know that. Tell that to them...did you see the show last night?"

Me-:"Yeah, it sucked. Like two matches and the Pack had like one minute air time. Rest was all about the ppv tomorrow."

Walsh-:"So I didn't miss anything?"

Me-:"No."

Walsh-:"Okay so I'm suppose to ask you if you want to go for coffee with Jake?"

Me-:"Who's Jake?"

Walsh-:"He's a regular at the bar my older sister works at. He sometimes works as a bouncer when they host parties."

Me-:"No. Don't like bar people."

Walsh-:"I told her that. But she was insistent. Lest I can honestly tell her I asked."

Me-:"Just out of curiosity, why?"

Silence for a few minutes.

Walsh-:"Wife was out with her friends the other night, they stopped in for a bit, Jake asked my sister out and she said no. Wife heard, and I guess she thought you and him would be a good idea. Mind you, she was drunk. Should I even bother telling you what he looks like?"

I actually found myself thinking about it for a few seconds.

Me-:"Does he look like Dimmer?"

Walsh-:"No."

Me-:"There's your answer."

Walsh-:"You're not going to find a guy who looks like Dimmer."

Me-:"Then just give me Dimmer. I'd be happy with that."

Walsh-:"hahahahahahaha!"

Me-:"So you really don't think I can score a hot guy?"

more silence.

Walsh-:"Never said that. I'm saying, you need to start dating again. Anything is possible if you believe in it...you deserve some happiness."

You know what, for once I'm going to agree.

Monday continued

I got a message from Walsh few minutes ago. "Better get ready, you're going to have to practice your lawn toss."

Me-:"What?"

Walsh-:"You said if they put the Pack in that match on the big yearly ppv, you'd throw the tv out the window."

Me-:" So I did, and you're not funny."

Walsh-:"I am too funny."

No, no he's not. "They looked good though. Makes you want to howl at the full moon or something."

Walsh-:"What is it with you and werewolves anyway?"

Me-:"I like men with hairy chests. I don't know, just do. Why do you like sharks?"

Walsh-:"Like you said, don't know just do."

(I actually do like guys with hairy chests.)

Untitled

Not a post-it Mr. Scratchy.
Why is it, when you want to get noticed, you never do, and when you're oblivious to the world around you, you get noticed?  I was in a rush at the grocery, Storm started screaming at me from across the place, all the customers around us turned to see who the hell the moron was trying to talk to. And of course, I looked like I just crawled out from under a tree stump, yoga pants, oversized t-shirt, in desperate need of a haircut, covered in slush and mud from being splashed by some lunatic in the grocery parking lot.
I swear, one of these days I'm going to buy a really expensive dress, get my hair and nails and make-up and what have you done just to go to the grocery and prove that I don't always look like something you find living at the bottom of a swamp.
Though, the last two years I have felt like something you find at the bottom of a swamp...

Anyways, caught up with last night's wrestling. Now that's the Pack I fell in love with. Slaughtering everyone in their eyesight. And I love the fact that Rebel without a Cause had the lead in a few of the segments. About time.  Thought Werewolf King was going to smack Mad Hatter upside the skull when he started dancing to the theme music. Wonder what he would do if someone played him Danzig or Overkill?  Yeah, old references from a billion years ago, deal with it.

one ringy dingy

Doorbell went just after 9pm. My cousin was standing there, looking like he had just run a few miles, red checked, breathing heavy.

Me-:"Everything okay?"

He nodded taking his shoes off. "I'm suppose to pick the kids up in a few minutes from swimming lessons. Who's on?"

Me-:"That bodybuilder dude. The Pack is suppose to be on some point...okay, what's wrong?"

Walsh shrugged getting himself a glass of water. "Nothing, mom's got a couple of new foster kids so I didn't feel like stopping in there."  he headed for the toilet.

Me-:"The Pack's on."  I screamed at the bathroom door.

Walsh-:"Damn, how much I miss? Doesn't matter, dvr is set at home. Has Mavis been acting odd?"

Me-:"She's been a total brat the last couple of weeks. Why?"

He shrugged putting his shoes back on. "She didn't want to sleep over at our sister's cause Daffiny's boyfriend was still there at supper time. She's not talking to anyone but, she won't sleep alone."

Me-:"You're getting worried?"

He shrugged again. "I don't know. Next time she's around you, see if you can't get her to tell you why she doesn't care for Daffiny's boyfriend. Okay, I need to get over to pick the kids up before the center closes. They lock the doors to the pool at 9:30pm. I don't want the kids standing around outside their hair wet. Last time the oldest was still in her swimming suit under her clothes, she was just soaked." he was halfway out the door then turned back around and gave me the biggest grin ever. "There, I've just given you a blog post." he giggled as he zipped up his jacket. "Tell Mad Hatter I said hi."  he was laughing as he left the building.

Hug Me

Mavis jumped on me hugging me, roaring like a tiger. "I'm going to get you!"

Now, it's common knowledge, I'm not big on being hugged unless it's by a boyfriend.

Me-:"Don't touch me."

Mavis started to poke my shoulder. "Why not? You don't like hugs?"

Me-:"I don't like anyone or anything."

Mavis-:"Everyone likes to be hugged." she started to poke my ear, then jumped on me and hugged me again. We had been watching a movie up till then, so she had been quiet and the second the movie was turned off she was hyper running around. When I changed the channel, there was a replay of Monday night's wrestling on. Mavis turned to look at the screen. "How can you not like to be hugged? Would you like to hug my teddy bear?"

Me-:"No, it smells of apple juice."

Mavis screwed up her nose. "I know I spilled. Would you hug...him? Or him?" she was pointing to the screen, the Pack having their match against the Swamp Preacher and his group. "I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to hug a sweaty big wrestler."

Me-:"I would. Specially one of those three dressed in black."

Mavis-:"Okay, pick your favourite...no! Me first, I would pick that one right there in the middle. Cause he's got really nice hair. So you can't have him, cause I already said I would hug him. You can have one of the other two. But they would have to shower first because they're all gross from sweating."  Okay, I was holding my sides laughing at her at this point, which just made her worse. My cousin then started to laugh, and started to flick her hair around doing cartwheels. "He pulled his beard. Isn't that against the rules? You didn't pick who you would hug but they have to still be sweaty cause you're not allowed to hug them when they're clean. That looked like it would hurt, him bending his leg like that. Do you think it would hurt? Huh? Watch, I can do the chicken dance I learned it in school."

17th feb

I had come in to do a post on a random episode of SATC, but I got interrupted. I should have known it was coming, the usual message from cousin asking if I was watching the wrestling tonight.
Yes, sort of.

Walsh-:"What do you mean sort of? Either you're watching or you're not."

Me-:"It's on, I'm sitting here in front of the tv, but I've been trying to write. DVR is taping so I'll flip through it later catch what I missed."

Walsh-:"Did you see your man?"

Me-:"I heard the Pack's promo and Werewolf King's match, yeah. Why?"

Walsh-:"Don't sound so excited."

Me-:"Okay I will try to keep it to myself."

Walsh-:"So when they break your boys apart and have them feud against each other, where's your loyalty going?"

Me-:"That's one of the stupidest things you've ever said to me. And you mean if."

Walsh-:"No, I mean when."  another message came in less then thirty seconds later.  "????????"

Me-:"Depends on what they do with the characters."

Walsh-:"What do you mean?"

Me-:"Just what I said. Depends on how the characters evolve?"

Walsh-:"What's wrong with you tonight?"

Me-:"I haven't written anything in over a week. I'm really trying to fight writer's block."

Walsh-:"It's just writer's block. Nothing to be a bitch about."

Me-:"Really? Okay, you go and not be able to poop for a week get clogged up and gassy and then tell me how bitchy you are. That's the way writer's block is. You get mentally and emotionally clogged up."

Dead silence. I got up got a coffee. When I sat down to watch the end of the show, I got another message.

Walsh-:"Potty mouth."

Monday, February 10, 2014

10:37pm Monday night

"Are you watching the show?"  Walsh's weekly text came in.

Me-:"Yes, sort of. Your step mom was here for awhile, so it was on but sound was off."

Walsh-:"They're getting ready to rip your boys apart."

Me-:"Ssshhh! Don't tell me that. Leave the Pack alone."

Walsh-:"Split them right down the middle."

Me-:"There's a dirty joke there."

Walsh-:"What's wrong with you?"

Me-:"Generally or right now?"

Walsh-:"Some guy hits on you and you did nothing?"

Me-:"You read the blog?"

Walsh-:"I had time."

Me-:"I wouldn't call it hitting on me. He just asked the time."

Walsh-:"He was so hitting on you. When a guy bothers to stop moving in -35degree weather, he's hitting on you."   I was starting to type this up when another message came in. "This you need to blog. Make your boy realize he's got competition."

Me-:"There's an obvious joke there."

Walsh-:"???"

Me-:"He's an international wrestling superstar, he's always got competition. See obvious joke."

Walsh-:"Hahaha!"

Dirty Laundry 32

I was in the middle of doing dishes, when I got a message from my cousin Walsh asking if I had seen last night's wrestling yet, their dvr hadn't worked and he didn't get to see it. Lucky for him, I'm that predictable and keep episodes till the machine gets full. He came by when he dropped the kids off at skating.

Me-:"Anything new?"

Walsh-:"Nope. You?"

Me-:"Just working on the fairy tale."

He said nothing for awhile, just watched tv. Then the Pack came on and he nodded towards the screen. "Think they write their own promos?"

Me-:"I bet some do. I swear half the wrestlers get one script and half get a different one, because there is no way all those guys are that good of actors. I mean, all the wrestlers seem to make certain things, reactions seem natural; then you see them in movies and totally cardboard."

Walsh-:"I haven't read anything on it in a while. How's the fairy tale?"

Me-:"Fine. I did a piece like last week that had triple the normal amount of hits, then the last three or so have been almost nothing."

He got up to get a coffee. "You do anything different?"

Me-:"Near rape scene."  his jaw dropped when I said that. "That and one of the other characters got a small boost."

Walsh-:"Okay pause the show, I wanna read."  I pulled up the blog I've been writing the fairy tale on and showed him. "Huh? Brutal. Wonder what Rebel without a Cause thinks of that?"

Me-:"Don't start."

Walsh-:"Start what? All I did was say that I wonder what the wrestler you based that character on thinks about you writing a scene like that? How is that starting anything?"

Me-:"Okay. I thought...nevermind what I thought." I poured myself a coffee debating if I should try to finish the dishes?

Walsh-:"I still believe that Mad Hatter is Mr.Scratchy, if you thought I was going to say it was Rebel without a Cause." he put the episode of last night's wrestling back on. "I haven't heard you say much about Mr. Scratchy."

Me-:"Nothing to talk about. You know. I think he's left the building."  my cousin just looked at me. "Oh god, okay. Last March, like the beginning of last March, the scratching started to slow down some, as did the blog hits that corresponded with it. Seriously, just literally went from like three times a day every day at the same time, to once every few days, to only when I posted on my blogs. Then last summer, nothing. The scratching stopped."

He looked at me like he wasn't understanding what I was saying. "When last summer?"

Me-:"Middle of August. Just stopped dead."

Walsh-:"Okay and?"

Me-:"And what? I don't know if he just got massively bored, busy, into a relationship, fell of a cliff and died..."

Walsh-:"Uh hello." he waved at the tv screen, at the Pack. "Obviously didn't fall off a cliff."

Me-:"Obviously says you."  I stood there for a moment nearly drooling as we watched the rest of the match. "Anyways, what does it matter? I had my one chance at you know that quote/unquote, big love back like a decade ago and it didn't work. ----- just didn't want what I did, lest not with me."

Walsh-:"So you're giving up? What about Mr. Scratchy?" he pointed again to the tv screen.

Me-:"Been through this a million times. It's been a few years, if he was going to jump into it he would have. And he hasn't, so...what if he was suppose to be the right guy and that window of time is over? Or what if he was just suppose to introduce me to the right guy, and cause we never met, that window of time is over?"

Walsh-:"You won't give up! You're too much of a girl to give up." He flipped through the dvr. "You've got the one from Monday?" he pulled it up and was flipping through the episode. "Ha!" he paused it. "He's scratching his right side!"   He was referring to Mad Hatter.

Me-:"He's very carefully trying not to get caught on camera scratching his right side. Means nothing." I took a deep sip of my coffee blushing. "Other then he reads me and is being careful not to do anything that might seem like it could be analyzed by weird people like us with no life."

Walsh-:"I have a life. One that I wish I could escape from more often, but I have a life." he played the scene back in slow motion in rewind torturing me. "Oh see he's thinking, I have to make sure I'm facing the right direction so that the camera picks up all of it, slowly so that I'm noticed. Slower, must make sure the camera catches every angle..." he played it proper then rewound it playing it again before stopping the dvr. "That's what I think. I think he was subtly trying to get your attention."

Me-:"I don't know what I think anymore. I think I'm going to work on the fairy tale as much as possible, I think I'm going to accept the fact I'm turning 40 and have less chance at finding a decent guy anywhere..."

Walsh-:"I think that's crap."

Me-:"...I think that for whatever reason, the mystical magical bond or crush or whatever it was that Mr. Scratchy had for the last few years is gone. Done, over with. And you maybe need to get your testosterone levels checked because you're acting more like a girl at times then even I do."  I started to laugh then. "I'm going to buy you a skirt or something."

Walsh-:"Okay. Make sure it's in time for Valentine's Day. That will freak the wife out." he hit the play button on the dvr again. "What more proof do you need?"

Me-:"My name written on his chest during a match. I don't know...proof. A comment on the blog. The sky to open up and whomever the right guy really is to just fall into my lap. Like I said, doesn't matter, Mr. Scratchy has stopping thinking of me months ago."

Walsh-:"I don't believe that. I believe he's waiting for you to believe it's him."

Wow!

Got a message from my cousin Walsh few minutes ago.  "You watching wrestling tonight?"

Me-:"Yeah. Think my eyes fell out and rolled onto the floor."

Walsh-:"Hahahaha! Thought you might be drooling."  referring to the Pack having come out in suits.

Me-:"Wow. I want one of those."

Walsh-:"One what?"

Me-:"A guy that hot. Get me one for xmas."

Walsh-:"Hahahaha! They have Mad Hatter action figures at the store."

Me-:"voodoo dolls!"

I was in the middle of typing this when he messaged me again.  "Suits. You know what that means for your boys right?"

Me-:"No, what?"

Walsh-:"Crappy storylines that you're going to hate."

I didn't answer him back on that one cause he's right. I hate when he's right.

Dec 3rd 2013

Caught up with last night's wrestling, there Mr. Scratchy, Herman.  It was decent enough.   Liked the promo the Pack had, I miss seeing those. Shame they stopped posting them on the website...but anyways...

Dimmer needs a haircut. There I said it.  Rebel without a Cause needs to chop down that beard too, he's the only Pack member that is starting to look...like well something out of the fairy tale I'm writing.

My cousin Walsh dropped in for a few minutes earlier, dropped off a dvd he'd borrowed while back. Asked me if I had seen the turkey skits. No idea what he was talking about at first, then he pulled up the website and showed me.

Walsh-:"It's under the Pack heading when you search for them on the site. No idea why?"

We watched the first segment, and I pointed at the computer with my coffee cup, luckily it was nearly empty this time.

Me-:"Most likely because that's Mad Hatter."

Walsh-:"What? In the turkey suit?"

Me-:"Who knows? The voice box thingie. That's Mad Hatter."

He looked at me like I had just told him he'd be turning into a tree at midnight. "And what makes you think that?"

Me-:"Listen to it."  I made him rewind and listen again, then told him to go to the promo from last March and to listen to it. "Tell me you didn't catch that?"

Walsh-:"The voice could be anyone, what makes you so sure...okay yeah maybe."

Me-:"That promo from March, it's the promo that got me hooked on Mad Hatter. The one that inspired me to write the novel and the fairy tale, and the whole reason I started to crush on him. I think I've watched it like ten times now."

Walsh-:"Now you've just taken all the cool out of it for me. Now every time I see the Mad Hatter, he'll be some goof."

Me-:"Join the club. If you hadn't of shown me that old youtube of his from his indie days, I'd never have seen him in that light either. So blame yourself there bud."

Monday 8:15pm post it note

Last night, my ear was burning for over two hours.  From just after 10:30pm EST till after 12:30am.  Who could possibly have that much to talk about in regards to me?
I hope it was just you Mr. Scratchy and your buddies.

Been a quiet week, with nothing but watching movies. No Mr. Scratchy, I did not see the ppv last night. I read on the social site that the Pack lost though. Very upset to hear that.

The fairy tale is nearly ending. I broke my number one rule the other day, got the two lead characters together. I wasn't going to do that, but the posts that I'd written hinting at that were some of the posts to get the most hits. So I thought, could lead to a good twist. If nothing else, it's an easy wrap up for one of the subplots.

Okay Herman, hope you read this and smile. Or smirk, or pout or something.

P.S. for some weird reason I want to ask how the left side of your skull is? And your left leg?  Like I've said before, I've learned to just say what pops into my mind, for better or worse.

15th October post it note

Herman... Mr. Scratchy;
caught up with last night's wrestling, what do you mean that Werewolf King and Rebel without a Cause lost their shinny?  That's not buddies, that's not fun game...I didn't want to see that, didn't need to see that.

Now that my disappointment for the day is out of the way... hey how are ya?

I'm at the point in the fairy tale where the lead female is going to end up with one of the heroes. There are two that could be a good fit for her. The character based on Mad Hatter...er um you...er Mad Hatter...um dude! I suppose it would be... or the character based on Dimmer.  Either way, would make for an interesting dynamic leading to the wrap up of the serial.
And yes, the serial is coming to a wrap up soon.

Anyways, Herman, I imagine you checking in right now, deep sigh, a sandwich in hand, the lettuce slipping out making a mess. Maybe a smudge of mustard on your cheek, rolling your eyes at me.  And in case I don't get around to posting you a note before Friday, there will be both a lunar eclipse and full moon this coming Friday.  Double the crazy.

and as always, hope I brought a smile to your face.

p.s.  for some really messed up reason, I want to ask you Herman if you bought new shoes? Yeah, I have no idea where the hell that came from, but I've learned to speak it when it pops into my head. I think I need an off switch for my mouth.
